You just had your session. Now what? In this post, I give a breakdown of what to expect. So sit back & relax while your images are being fine-tuned!

Here is the breakdown of what happens next.

Images are uploaded & backed up

When I get home, I take my camera out of my bag to retrieve the memory cards. Then, I uploaded them onto my computer right away. Next, I create a folder with your name and back it onto my external hard drive and another external hard drive. (I always back up onto two separate hard drives to be safe).

Selecting the images

I will go through the images one by one and delete any out of focus as I view each image and my eyes blink/closed.

Images are selected & hand-edited to share on Social Media

I will upload all the good images to my editing software & choose a handful of photos to edit to share on social media within the next few days.

Images are edited

I will use my artistic judgment for editing in color and black & white. If you receive a black & white image, more than likely, you have another one in color. However, If you want a colored image in black & white, please let me know. I will be happy to edit in black & white. However, if you wish to have your entire gallery in black & white, it will incur a fee as it takes some time.

Your gallery is ready in about 2-3 weeks.

I know you are excited to see the gallery. I do my best to get the editing done as quickly as I can. Editing the full gallery takes about 2-3 weeks.Weddings/Events about 4-6 weeks. I will go through each image.

Once the editing is complete, I will upload it to the online gallery for you to view.

You will then receive an email with all the details on viewing your gallery, choosing your images, & how to download.

Galleries are available for two weeks for viewing and sharing with your family & friends. After that, you will have until the expiration date of your gallery to choose your images.

Need more viewing time on the Gallery?

If you need more time to view the gallery, please let me know. Reactivating the gallery will incur a fee of $35.00

You have downloaded your gallery, now what?

You can save, share & print as often as you like. However, once you have downloaded your precious memories from the gallery, you are responsible for backing them up for safe-keeping. It is best to back your images on an external hard drive or back up on a cloud service like Dropbox or Google Drive. So you never know what can happen to your computer or EHD; to be safe, have another form of backup for your images.
