Bella & Nick: Anniversary Session at Harriton House

Sharing is caring!

There’s just something magical about late afternoons in the fall, that crisp air, the soft golden light, and the way everything feels a bit more intentional. It made the perfect backdrop for Bella and Nick’s session at the historic Harriton House as they celebrated three years together.

From the moment we met up on the grounds, it was such a joy to be with them. I’ve known Bella for a few years. I photographed her senior photos and her family’s portraits, so seeing her with Nick felt like a beautiful next chapter.

They have this easy, natural chemistry that makes you feel like you’ve known them forever. Within minutes, we were laughing, chatting, and wandering the property like old friends.

Honestly, sessions like this make my job feel less like ‘work’ and more like a gift. Every couple brings something unique to the experience, adding their own special touch, which makes each session a joy to photograph.

This uniqueness helps me capture moments that truly represent their love story, making potential clients feel valued and seen. Harriton House gave us all the charm! Weathered stone, winding paths, open fields, and those classic old-home vibes I can never resist.

And when you pair that with a couple as genuinely sweet as Bella and Nick? Pure magic. They were playful, tender, and completely themselves with each other, which made it easy to capture the love they’ve built over the past three years.

Laughs, Love, and Golden-Hour Magic

One of my favorite moments was when the sun finally dipped low and that soft, golden glow wrapped around them. They held each other close, and it honestly felt like the rest of the world went quiet for a minute.

Those are the moments I live for, unscripted, real, and overflowing with heart. Another one of my favorite moments from the session was pure joy in action. Bella was on Nick’s back, and he started spinning her around.

They were both laughing so hard, completely caught up in the moment’s fun. Scenes like that make these sessions so special; it’s not just about the photos, it’s about capturing the genuine love and laughter they share.

What They Wore

Bella and Nick showed up in perfectly coordinated sweaters, the kind of soft, cozy layers that just belong in a crisp late-afternoon session.

Their outfits added this effortless warmth to every image, blending beautifully with the historic charm of Harriton House and the golden tones of the season. Simple, classic, and so them.

Harriton House has this timeless, tucked-away charm that makes it a dream for sessions like this. The mix of old stone buildings, sprawling fields, winding paths, and quiet pockets of light gives you endless spots to explore without ever feeling crowded.

It’s one of those places where every turn feels photogenic, and when you pair it with a couple celebrating something special, the whole place just comes alive.

Q: Where did you two meet?
