One of the coolest parts about my job as a photographer is that I get to capture my friends. One of those friends is Chris! He is a DJ of 911 Sound Pros, who I had the privilege of photographing last month. Chris wanted professional headshots for his business, and I was honored that he chose me to capture him to represent his business!

A bit of History about Chris

Chris started his company, 911 Sound Pros, in 2007. It started as a hobby and didn’t make a business until 2018, and since then has grown within his business. I have known Chris & his family for about 12 years, and I personally have seen his business grow to be successful. I really admire the fact that he worked so hard to build his business.

Another thing he provides is visual media. He can also assist with a few other things too!

The day of the shoot!

We met up at the Bridgeport Bridge in Bridgeport, Pa. Chris’ beautiful wife, Alisha & two boys came to the session location. It was so wonderful to see them all. Even though we live close to each other, we haven’t gotten together in a while due to the boys playing baseball. I can only imagine how busy they must be with the boys in two separate teams! I was so grateful that they were there to assist with the shoot. They were a huge help!

It was a crisp day! Chris was freezing, but he got through it! Ha! We started the session with Chris’ headshots in a dress jacket; then we moved on with adding the props, such as his headphones, microphone & a very cool purple vinyl!

Chris was so easy to work with & was very willing to go with any idea I had for the shoot! For that reason, I felt it was befitting to feature not just the images I took of him but also some of the equipment he uses for the work that he does.

My intention for the shoot was not only to have headshots of Chris smiling but to also add flair and creativity to his shoot for fun. Chris was on board with any idea I had too! Here are a few of my favorites!

Funny story

I asked Alisha to whisper something in his ear to laugh & he started laughing. Want to what she said? Nothing! She just blew in his ear. We all were laughing so hard, But I will tell you, at least I got some genuine laughs from him!
